Paperary Digital Library LICENCE AGREEMENT
1. General Terms
1.1. This Licence Agreement is binding to anyone entering Paperary Digital Library website regardless if user has read and accepted stated terms and conditions.
1.2. Contents and design of Paperary Digital Library as well as its name and logotype are copyright objects. Any use of copyright objects having no direct permits stated in Licence Agreement shall be considered as a violation of copyrights.
1.3. Any announcements published in Digital Library Paperary website are of equal legal force as this Licence Agreement and are binding to all visitors of present website.
1.4. Digital Library Paperary have rights to make amendments in this Licence Agreement by publishing them on www.paperary.org website.
1.5. All disputes shall be settled by mutual negotiations. In case no solution can be found, disputes shall be settled according to legislation of Republic of Latvia.
2. Terms used
2.1. Paperary – „Paperary” Ltd. (Registration No. 40003831673 of Republic of Latvia) is the owner of Paperary Digital Library (Registration No.BLB1904 of Republic of Latvia).
2.2. Website – site of Paperary Digital Library – www.paperary.org.
2.3. User – any person visiting, publishing his/her own study papers or using services from Paperary Digital Library.
2.4. User profile – a password protected part of Website corresponding to one User.
2.5. Materials – literary study papers published on Website.
2.6. List of Papers – list of Materials submitted on Website by one User.
3. Use of Materials
3.1. Downloaded Materials are to be used for educational purposes, all rights are reserved. References to Material and Website are compulsory when used in other papers or publications.
3.2. Paperary is not liable for contents of Materials. Viewpoints stated in materials do not necessarily conform to the ones of Paperary Digital Library. Information stated in materials may not always be correct and precise.
3.3. Reuse or republishing of any Materials from Website is strictly forbidden.
3.4. In case User infringes terms and conditions of this Licence Agreement, Paperary Digital Library has authority to exact all arisen losses, delete User profile and to bring the case to law enforcement institutions.
4. Receiving Materials
4.1. The only legal way to receive Materials is by downloading them from public section of Website or by receiving as e-mail attachments.
4.2. Use of other Author’s profile is strictly forbidden. Persons accused for such violations might be put to trial.
5. Submitting Materials
5.1. User is authorised to publish his/her own Materials and is fully liable for given information. A User submitting Materials of other persons shall be considered as an authorized person who is fully liable for his/her actions, opinions stated and information published.
5.2. After creating a User’s profile registered person transfers all material copyrights for added Materials including authority to publish submitted Materials.
5.3. User has rights to remove his/her Material from Paperary by giving a written notice at least one year in advance.
5.4. Paperary is authorized to discontinue publishing User’s submitted Material. If User shall breach this Licence Agreement, Paperary is empowered to discontinue publishing all of Materials submitted by User.
5.5. User is fully liable for any claims of third parties rising from mendacious information on authorship and contents of submitted Materials.
6. Exchange of Information
6.1. Any exchange of information between Paperary and User shall be handled electronically. Thus performed exchange of information needs no additional confirmations.
6.2. It shall be considered that any transactions in User’s profile are performed by therein registered User and herewith he/she is liable for all actions, consequences and information stated in profile.
6.3. Issued password is confidential information that can be used only by User. User shall cover all losses rising from mislay or handing over of password to third parties.
6.4. Paperary guarantees data security and confidentiality within its technical abilities.
6.5. Paperary shall inform Users on substantial amendments and news regarding activities of website by sending e-mail messages.
